The Mead School District hosted a Family Connection and Resources Event for the families of students who access special education services in our district! In collaboration with Spokane County Transition Services, this event provided families the opportunity to connect with a range of foundational, supplemental and future-ready resources and services.
A number of organizations were on site at Northwood Middle School on Thursday, May 30th, to connect with families on resources they can offer. Those organizations include: Spokane County Transition Services, Skils’kin, Ability Employment Services, Northwest Center, Artisans, Enso, Goodwill, True North Solutions, Tim Foster Consulting, Compass Career Solutions, At Work!, and The Arc of Spokane.
