Parent Tech Resources
Welcome to the Parent Tech Resources page, developed by the Technology Advisory Committee (TAC). The Technology Advisory Committee consists of six community volunteers and six staff members and serves the district by providing an avenue for parents, staff and students to share concerns regarding technology usage and management.
Technology has become a constant in our lives, even more so in recent years with working through remote learning and a shift of access to curriculum to online platforms through our curriculum providers. MSD is a 1:1 technology district with each student assigned a Chromebook, and in the spirit of collaboration, providing parents with strategies, tools, and encouragement to establish safe boundaries and an intentional, productive technological mindset with their children is paramount. Working side by side, we believe we can assist students in having a safe and meaningful technological educational experience in the Mead School District.
