eFlyers & Distribution
The Mead School District is now utilizing an electronic flyer distribution service called Peachjar that sends approved flyers about events and activities from school and community organizations directly to parent emails.
The district works with non-profit community organizations or other programs that primarily benefit children to provide information to students and families about educational and recreational opportunities. As part of our efforts to be more environmentally friendly, embrace innovative technology, and maintain fiscal responsibility, we have transitioned from paper to electronic flyer delivery.
Submitting Flyers from Community Non-Profit Organizations
The Mead School District no longer accepts paper flyers or posters for distribution at its schools. Community non-profit organizations may submit flyers using the Peachjar system for district approval. If there is no charge for the event or activity being offered, flyers may be posted for free. Once approved, the flyer will be emailed to all parents and posted online.
Community members who are interested in distributing information to our schools using Peachjar should first read the following information below on the criteria required and the process for submitting the proposed flyer through the Peachjar system.
Flyer Approval Criteria
Applications for the distribution of materials are approved with the following conditions met:
- the materials must be for a Non-Profit organization

- the materials must be free of advertising, logos, etc.
- the content must not promote the violation of existing laws and must be free of libelous, obscene, lewd or vulgar language
- materials must contain a disclaimer that clearly states “Not endorsed by Mead School District”
- approved materials must be delivered directly to the schools by the organization, at the convenience of the school
Peachjar Information
Community Non-Profit Organizations
To request flyer approval: (1) visit www.peachjar.com, (2) sign up as a "community organization", and (3) upload the flyer for approval.
The flyer will be automatically submitted to the district office. District staff will review the material and approve or deny based on the criteria above. Peachjar charges a fee for this service that is typically much less than the cost to copy and deliver paper flyers to each school. Once approved, your flyer will be emailed to parents and posted on the school flyerboard webpages (linked by school in the sidebar menu on this page).
-
If a community non-profit organization is not charging for their event or activity and wants to request a "Community Free Flyer" account, the organization can email support@peachjar.com. Wait for your approval. Peachjar does charge a fee to send flyers if the organization charges a fee for the event or activity.
