Title I Services

We have two schools in our district that provide school-wide Title I services. Evergreen and Shiloh Hills Elementary have completed an extensive year long program review that builds a strong school-wide commitment to student learning. In doing this process they become School-wide Title I buildings. These two schools have a strong learner centered focus. Each building is tracking data and working with students to increase student success.

Brentwood Elementary provides targeted assistance to those students most at risk in reading or in math.

Right to Be Informed – Teacher Qualifications

When schools receive these federal grant dollars, there are a certain guidelines that must be adhered to. One of these is to inform parents of their right to be informed,

Under this act, parents of children in schools that receive Title I dollars have the right to request information regarding the professional qualifications of the student’s classroom teachers. Para-professionals who work with students in a Title I program also have to meet certain educational requirements. You may contact our Human Services department at the Mead School District Offices to request this information.
