App/Website Approval

Educators are bound by two laws, Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA) and the Family Educational Right to Privacy Act (FERPA). These laws apply to online sites, apps, and extensions used in the classroom.  Example: Discovery Education (site), RazKids (app), EdPuzzle (extension). For more information view the student privacy videos from iKeepsafe.

Please remember companies may leave or retrieve data even though you have not logged into their site.

To request an app/website/extension be approved, fill out the request form.  Please review lists of approved and unapproved apps to ensure you request has not already been vetted.
