The New Northwood Middle School Project is completely finished. We are extremely pleased with the finished product and extend our sincere thanks to the many, many individuals who worked on the project and to the Mead community who, in February 2015, approved the funds for this new school.
On June 8th the cement wall was removed from the Midway main entry so that the final chapter of this project - the remodel of the front office and library - can begin. With the front office "gone" the Midway office has temporarily moved to the old Northwood building where they are open for business June 15-27 from 8 am to 3 pm. The renovation of these two spaces will be completed by August 21 when the office will reopen following summer break.
Lots of demolition taking place at Shiloh Hills. Pictures show the back wall removed in preparation for expanding the school's north facing footprint to include a new lunch/multi-purpose room adjacent to the new school kitchen.
