August 18 - Colbert Single Point of Entry

Work is nearing completion on the Colbert Elementary single point of entry, which includes installation of a second set of double doors a few feet from the main entry. The project also includes a new viewing window from the main office into the vestibule and a buzzer system allowing controlled access during the school day.

More Summer Paving Projects

Using savings from the Brentwood and Evergreen summer paving projects we were able to repair the driving lane of the front parking lot and add two paved access paths to the baseball & softball fields at Mt. Spokane. These new access paths are similar to those already in place at Mead High.

August 16 - Midway Construction Update

Concrete was poured for the West access road, East addition structural steel was set, exterior demolition continued, the new irrigation main was installed, the North wing roof was torn down and piping was installed underground in the kitchen & mechanical room.

Summer Paving Projects

Parking lot and recess blacktop areas at both Evergreen and Brentwood are in the process of having bad sections removed and repaved and cracks sealed. This will be followed by the application of new seal coat on all surfaces and the repainting of parking, basketball court and four-square lines.

Mead High Single Point of Entry

The Mead High main entry and front office are in the process of being reconfigured into a single point of entry. The finished product will provide a second set of double doors and create a small foyer directing parents and visitors into the main office once the school day starts.
