HOSA State Leadership Conference 2018

Congratulations! At the March 15-17, 2018, HOSA State Leadership Conference the four person Mead High HOSA Bowl team (Cori Edlin, Ed Liu, Sydney Nessan & Dani Rehm) earned 1st place honors and Mt. DECA National Qualifiers 2018

Mt. Spokane and Mead High sent 107 students to State DECA in Bellevue in early March where 18 students (15 from Mt. Spokane and 3 from Mead High) qualified to compete at DECA Nationals April 21-24, 2018, in Atlanta, Georgia. Read more . . .

Academic State Champions 2018

Congratulations to Mead High Drama students who are the 2018 4A Drama WIAA Academic State Champion with a 3.757 team GPA. Additionally, 46 teams/activities from Mt. Spokane & Mead High earned winter season Outstanding Awards (3.5-4.0 GPA) and Distinguished Awards (3.0-3.49 GPA) via the WIAA State Academic Awards Program. Read more . . .

Wrestling State Champions 2018

Congratulations to the Mt. Spokane Wrestling Team on earning their first ever 3A State Wrestling Championship! Mead High placed 2nd in the 4A classification. The Mead School District is also home to three individual state champions - Jake Howerton (Mt. Spokane 152 lbs.), Blake Haney (Mt. Spokane 126 lbs.) and Chase Tebbets (Mead High 120 lbs.).

2018 Bridge Building Competition Results

The annual Mead School District Bridge Building Competition, that took place at Mt. Spokane High School on February 10, included 212 elementary, middle and high school student participants. The event included three divisions and those who placed 1st, 2nd & 3rd took home cash awards. Read more . . .
