Principal Announcement

In the fall of 2020 the Mead School District will open a new elementary school and a new middle school. The principal for the elementary school will be Laura Duchow and the middle school principal will be Barb Pybus. Both are veteran lead administrators. Read more. . . .

Academic State Champions

Each athletic season - fall, winter & spring - school districts in Washington State submit team GPAs to the WIAA. In addition to recognizing the 16 teams from Mead High and 19 teams from Mt. Spokane who received Outstanding (3.50-4.00 GPA) and Distinguished (3.00-3.49 GPA) Awards we congratulate the Mead High Girls Cross-Country Team who, with a 4.00 team GPA, is the 2018 4A Academic State Champion! 2018 State Slowpitch Softball Champions

Congratulations to the Mt. Spokane Slowpitch Softball Team (Coach Carl Adams) who captured the 2018 slowpitch softball title on October 27 at the state tournament in Richland by defeating Lake Washington 18-0, Central Valley 4-3 and U High 10-4.

Solar Farm Ribbon Cutting Featured Speaker 2018

At the October 23, 2018, official Ribbon Cutting Ceremony for Avista's Adams-Nielson Solar Farm in Lind, Washington, our own Travis Bown (Maintenance Director) joined Governor Jay Inslee on stage as one of the featured speakers.
