2017 AP Scholars

Congratulations to 125 Mt. Spokane and Mead High students who scored so well on last spring's Advanced Placement exams they have earned special designations from The College Board. Mead SD Feature Video - Bridge Building

This video showcases the Mead School District's annual Bridge Building Competition. In addition to highlighting the winning bridge designers, the video follows a middle school team who had to make adjustments to their bridge design on the fly and shares the lessons they learned along the way.

Midway Elementary Modernization Ground Breaking Ceremony

To celebrate the start of construction on the Midway Elementary renovation project there was an official "Ground Breaking Ceremony" on the morning of June 2nd. The event was hosted by Midway Principal Josh Westermann and the entire student body, wearing yellow construction hats, was in attendance.

Two Boys Track & Field State Champions

The Mead School District is home to not one but two boys track & field state champions! Mt. Spokane High School is the 3A champion winning their very first title with an impressive 81 points. Mead High captured the 4A championship by scoring 39 points. Read more . . .
