Students Excel at Business Plan Competition

28 student-led business plan teams qualified for the WSU Business Plan Competition that was held on April 25, 2015, including two teams from the Mead School District who participated in the High School division. Congratulations to Mead High School Senior Elizabeth McKee who was named a Spokane Scholar at the awards banquet on April 20, 2015. She placed 2nd in the English category and received a $3,000 scholarship. Read more . . .

CenturyLink $5,000 Teacher Technology Grant

Nancy Phillips, a Library Media Specialist at Shiloh Hills Elementary School, is one of six teachers statewide to receive a 2015 CenturyLink Technology Grant. The monies will be used to purchase iPads for use by the entire Shiloh Hills student population. In Washington State a total of 200 grant applications were submitted.
