"The Diary of Anne Frank" Play and Exhibit

The Mead High School Theatre Arts Department is excited to present the opening of "The Diary of Anne Frank" play and exhibit on Thursday, February 26. Voters Approve Bond & Levy

A big THANK YOU to the Mead community for their support! Preliminary results have both February 10 ballot measures receiving voter approval. The Levy received nearly 69% voter approval and the Bond 63.5%. The Spokane County Elections Office will certify election results on February 24, 2015.

Microsoft's World Series of Innovation Winner

A team of four students from Riverpoint Academy (Kassidy Newsom, Blair Waiting, Rianne Ellingwood & Connor Breneman) has won their division in Microsoft's World Series of Innovation earning $2,500 for themselves and $500 for Riverpoint Academy. Read more . . .

2015 "Hoops for Hope" XI

Thanks to the Mead, Mt. Spokane, Northwood and Mountainside staff members who played in the 2015 "Hoops for Hope" basketball game. The event raised nearly $3,000 this year for a grant total of $48,000 contributed to help fight cancer over the past eleven years.

Kress Gallery Art Show

During the month of February 2015 artwork from Mt. Spokane High School and Mead High School students will be on display at the Kress Gallery located on the Food Court/2nd floor of Riverpark Square in downtown Spokane. On Friday, February 6, all are invited to attend a Reception/Grand Opening for this artwork display from 5-8 p.m. as part of Spokane's First Friday event. Read more . . .
