Old Mead Middle School Farewell Open House - June 20, 5-7 pm

To allow community members, who attended old Mead Middle School as students or worked there as staff, the opportunity to tour the facility one last time before it is removed to make room for our new athletic-performing arts venue/stadium, the district is hosting a Farewell Open House on Thursday, June 20th from 5-7 pm (12509 N. Market, Mead, WA).

Registration Open - Summer 2019 STEM Camps

During the month of July the Mead School District is hosting three weeks of Summer STEM Academy with seven camps offered each week. Sessions take place at Northwood Middle School July 8-11, July 15-18 and July 22-25 . . . 8 am-1 pm each day. Read more . . .

Summer School - Registration Open

Summer School credit recovery and Bridge Program (Algebra Enrichment, Reading/Writing Workshop & ELL Structures) classes will be offered June 17 - July 18 at Mountainside Middle School. Classes (no charge) are open to current (2018-19) Mead School District 7th - 11th grade students. Read more . . .

FREE Lunch & Afternoon Snack July 8 - August 30

Thanks to the US Department of Agriculture, FREE lunch (11:30 am - 1 pm) and a FREE afternoon snack (4 - 4:30 pm) will be available July 8 - August 30, at the old Northwood Middle School building (13120 N. Pittsburg). There is NO COST & NO ENROLLMENT required for children 18 years of age and younger.
