The Mead School District is growing. In the last ten years we have grown by 733 students and this year our student population grew another 300+ students. Davis Demographics predicts the Mead School District will grow by nearly 3,000 students in the next ten years (2026).
All district elementary schools are currently at or near capacity. In order to house more students in grades K-6 we need additional classrooms. To meet our space needs the Facilities Planning Committee has recommended the construction of a NEW middle school (grades 6-8) and a NEW elementary school. These two new schools will add 65 classrooms. Click here to see a complete list of projects that are part of the February 2018 Facilities improvement Bond.
