The Mead School District is excited to announce the 2024 Mead Summer STEM Academy (MSSA), which will take place this July! MSSA is open to district students in Grades 2-8 (based on their current grade in Spring 2024).
This year's theme is "Into the Unknown". In addition to large group instruction and design challenges, students will explore Robotics, Food Chemistry, Digital Photography, Space, Nature, The Force Olympics, The Science of Sport, Adventures in Mathematica and Design Academy in project-based modules.
Registration will be done through the Powerschool Parent Portal. In preparation for registering, parents/guardians who do not have an active Powerschool Parent account will need to contact the main office at their child’s school to get an account set up. Mead Summer STEM Academy General Information
Dates: July 8-11, July 15-18, July 22-25
Time: Each one-week module is Monday-Thursday, 8:30 a.m.-1:30 p.m.
Location: Northwood Middle School, 12908 N. Pittsburg, Spokane, WA 99208

Cost: $165 per week/module (Breakfast, Lunch and Camp T-Shirt provided)
