MyView App

The Mead School District Transportation Department launched a new Bus GPS-connected smartphone application. The new service is called MyView and is an easy-to-use, all-in-one parent app that will enable parents/guardians to see their student’s bus schedules and bus location in real-time using the bus GPS through geo-alerts customized in their own account. MyView can also send you push notifications or text message alerts when your student swipes their student ID card onto and off of their assigned bus.

MyView is optional and not required for parents. To get registered, follow the instructions below to receive geo-location alerts, arrivals and departures. The setup process is available in two formats, a how-to video or a step-by-step PDF linked below. The process should take between 5-15 minutes to set up the MyView application. The following items will be needed during this process:

  • The Mead School District code: MEA9290
  • Your student’s (five-digit) Power School ID, which can be found next to their name in the PowerSchool Parent Portal. For Kindergarten or new families, instructions on setting up your Parent Portal are also at the following link just below the sign in button here: https://meadschools.powerschool.com/public/home.html
  • The route number that your student rides during the year, including the Monday through Friday route, the Wednesday Late Start Route and any potential snow routes.

Once you have located your student’s ID number and bus route number, download the Zonar MyView app at the Google Play Store on Android devices and the App Store for iOS.

Next, you can begin the setup process by following the instructions either on our How-To PDF here, or via this video.

For issues connecting your students or bus route numbers in the app, please call the Transportation Department at (509) 465-6107 or email transportation@mead354.org
