| Washington Drug Free Youth (WDFY) |
If you would like to
join, please print off the form found here and bring it to Mrs. Butz.
W.D.F.Y.
offers youth, in grades 6–12, an incentive to become or remain drug
free through positive reinforcement by giving them the opportunity to
participate in regular, fun activities and receive discounts from local
merchants. Members receive a card that entitles them to great discounts
and special offers from local merchants. W.D.F.Y. may be added as a
complement to an existing program or club in middle, junior, and senior
high schools, or community/civic youth clubs.
W.D.F.Y. members
are drug free and prove it by submitting to random drug testing
throughout their membership. The program receives its testing through
generous donations from Pathology Associates Medical Laboratories
(PAML).
Through the W.D.F.Y. program, the community has a chance
to become involved in the lives of youth. It also encourages program
supporters and their families to attend WDFY activities, events, and
community service projects. |
