Kids for Kids 2009 Inaugural Marathon
May 16, 2009
Concept: The Asuris Kids for Kids 2009 Inaugural Marathon is intended to encourage children (ages 5-13) to become more physically fit by following a fun running and/or walking program. The goal for each child is to complete 25 miles before race weekend. On race day, children who are properly registered and have reached their mileage goal will complete the final 1.2 miles on the Windermere Marathon Spokane course in front of family, friends, and spectators. The final 1.2 miles is an untimed, non-competitive fun run. Adults are welcome to accompany their children. Adults with strollers are asked to stay toward the back at the starting line. No pets allowed. For more information click here.
