Quest Nominations Open Until May 20th
The Quest Highly Capable Program is currently in the nomination process for the fall 2013-2014 school year for students currently in grades 4 and 5 that are not currently in program. Click here for a nomination form. Testing will begin in late May. All nomination forms need to be submitted to each elementary school's secretary no later than Monday, May 20th for permission to test your child.
All third graders in the Mead School District will be screened for eligibility during the last two weeks of May. Parents are able to opt out of this testing by returning the Quest Notification letter sent home with each child by Monday, May 20th

New Communication System
The Mead School District is pleased to announce the launch of our new alert and notification system. With this new communication tool schools can send periodic and personalized voice messages to parents within minutes. The system will be used to compliment our emergency preparedness procedures and to inform parents of upcoming school events such as:
Parent/Teacher Conferences
- School Closure Information
- Bus Route Changes
- Early Release Days
- State Testing
PowerSchool
PowerSchool allows you to view information about your child, including attendance, lunch balance, email notifications, and demographics. If your child is in grade 7-12, you will also have access to their grades.

 Many parents are starting to use eMail notifications. Log in to your parent access account by using the link above to get started.

E-Notify Registration
E-Notify is an email notification system Mead School District is implementing in order to bring urgent information (including school closures) to parents in a more timely manner.
