Parent Involvement
We welcome parents to
participate in the education and student life of your child and have
many opportunities for you to be involved.
Meadow Ridge parents work together with us in so many important ways and are a
valued part of our community.
Fall Parent Orientation Meetings
Each year, grade level parent meetings are held in order for teachers to provide parents with an overview of the grade level curriculum and classroom expectations. This is your opportunity as parents to know what your children experience in their classroom throughout the year. Parents and teachers alike feel these are extremely important meetings - please plan on attending.
Parent-Teacher Conferences
There are two
conference weeks scheduled during the school year. The first conference
is scheduled five (5) days prior to the Thanksgiving week-end. The
second conference is scheduled five (5) days prior to Spring vacation.
These are very valuable meetings as parents will hear how your children are doing in acquiring grade level knowledge and skills and meeting expectations.

Meadow Ridge PTO
The
Meadow Ridge Parent Teacher Organization meets regularly to support the
work of our school and plan fundraisers and activities throughout the
year. Feel free to come to any meeting or call for more information.
We
have many needs and opportunities for you to volunteer at our
school. If you can give of your time, whether it is for
occasional events, once a month, or more frequently, we would love to
hear from you.
Council for Learning Improvement
The
Council for Learning Improvement is made up of Meadow Ridge staff
members and parents. As specified by the Mead School District Board of
Directors, this group establishes and monitors learning improvement
goals each year.
