| Important Note: Due
to the new North-South Highway construction project, the driveway
access to the front of the Mead School District Administration building
has been eliminated. We now enter through the back driveway, from Farwell Road.
This
new entrance will cause our formal address to change. Mead School

Parent Notification -- Changes in Student Fees At
their meeting of June 28, 2010, the Mead School District Board of
Directors approved an annual, one-time activity fee for students who
participate in one or more extra-curricular activities (Elementary
$20; Middle School $30; High School $40). The
purpose of this annual fee is to protect extra-curricular programs from
elimination. Mead students will be required to pay this fee prior to
participation in sports and/or activities. Additionally,
the 2010-2011 school year will see a reduction in the activity bus
schedule. More specific information regarding the curtailment of this
service will be published in August. Please
stay tuned to your school or district webpage for information updates.
