Testing for 7th Grade Honors English Placement

Testing for 6th grade students who wish to be assessed for 7th grade Honors English will take place during spring conference week, March 22 through 25, in the elementary buildings. This is ONE piece of data that is used for placement in honors English. If you wish for your child to be assessed, please print and complete the permission form and return it to your child’s school office by Friday, March 12. If you are unable to print the form, it is available in each elementary office.

M.E.A.D. Students Working on City-Wide Project

On April 2nd, M.E.A.D. Alternative High School will be participating in the Transcendence Project, a city-wide project of "Our Kids: Our Business". M.E.A.D. students participating in our Transcendence class will be putting on their own exhibit at the Community-Building on the Palestinian-Israeli conflict called "Give Peace a Chance."

Our students are planning to teach elementary school classrooms in our district about the issue and involve them in the making of pinwheels for peace, which will be displayed as part of the exhibit. Our students are also going to be acting participants in the April 2nd display, which will be very informational on the subject of the Palestinian-Israeli conflict.

Senior Presentations & Student Led Conferences

Senior Presentations and SLCs have moved to May this year (May 17-20). Panelists are needed for the Senior Presentations. If you would like to serve please complete this online volunteer form.

Senior Presentations will take place May 17-20 from 11 a.m. - 2:30 p.m.

Spokane Regional Health Immunization Clinics

Mead School District is working with Spokane Regional Health District to host local immunization clinics for our students. Immunizations are for all children and are provided at NO CHARGE- however there is a limited supply.

Listed below are the dates, times, and locations for the upcoming clinics. If you have any questions please call Spokane Regional Health District at 324-1600. Parents must be present and must bring all children's lifetime or doctor provided vaccination records so that required immunizations can be identified.

ANNUAL DISTRICT and SCHOOL REPORT CARD
