The job posting is attached and includes a closing date of March 15, 2019. We anticipate a new superintendent will be hired by mid-April with a start date of July 1, 2019.
Preliminary interviews are the next step in the hiring process. The Mead School District Board of Directors intends to select approximately 12 community members, representing a cross-section of the Mead community, to join 12 staff members on the Superintendent Search Interview Panel. The panel will observe the preliminary interviews of six to eight selected candidates and will, individually, provide input to the Board on each of these candidates. Preliminary interviews will take place on Tuesday, March 26 and Wednesday, March 27 from 1-6 pm each day. It is essential that panel members be available for the entire interview session on both days.
