2017 Mead School District Bridge Building Competition

To make this year's competition more challenging than last year the required length of bridges was increased.
 
For the second consecutive year Mead High's Alisha Trevaskis was the 1st place winner in the high school division. Her bridge efficiency was 1368.68 (the next closet score was 996.28). Cash prizes were awarded to the following top three finishers in each category:
 
High School Division
  • 1st place - Alisha Trevaskis (Mead High 12th grade)
  • 2nd place - Levi Arnold (Mead High 12th grade)
  • 3rd place - Gabi Hager (Mt. Spokane 11th grade)
Middle School Division
  • 1st place - Nic Caballero & Bryan Evans (Northwood 8th graders)
  • 2nd place - Ethan Ingalls & Brayden Putney (Northwood 7th graders)
  • 3rd place - Ryan Clark (Mountainside 7th grade)
Elementary School Division
  • 1st place - Gavin O'Connor & Gavin Wideman (Colbert 6th graders)
  • 2nd place - Kaitlynn Gardiner & Alana Tomayko (Shiloh Hills 6th graders)
  • 3rd place - Angelica Goold, Gavin Farnsworth & Rylese Walker (Shiloh Hills 6th graders)
