With the help of engineers from local firms, the competition was judged based on bridge efficiency, which is the amount of weight the bridge can hold, divided by the weight of the bridge. Last year the top bridge efficiency was 624. This year the winning entry had an efficiency rating of 1638.18 . . . more than double last year's top score!
The top three bridge designs received the following cash awards:
- 1st Place $100 - Alisha Trevaskis (Mead High)
- 2nd Place $80 - Colby Hoskinson (Mt. Spokane)
- 3rd Place $60 - Levi Arnold (Mead High)
