Spokane Scholars

The Spokane Scholars Foundation was established in 1993 by a group of area professionals who believed recognition of academic excellent in Spokane County was not what is should be. Founders felt it was time to stand up and cheer for scholarly efforts.

Area high schools nominate one student in each of the six honored disciplines - English, Fine Arts, Mathematics, Science, Social Studies and World Languages. Four scholarships are awarded in each category for a total of 24 monetary awards.
